Osteitis pubis: Osteitis pubis can be the result of significant inflammation of the synovium or tissue that lines this joint, as well as arthritis in the joint. Treatment includes rest, anti inflammatories as well as injections. In a severe case I have performed an arthroscopy which uses a small camera and shaver to remove the pathological tissue with very good success.
