I'vet had dry mouth for few weeks. its only on 1 side at back of mouth nr wisdom teeth. what could be the cause of intermittent localised dry pathes?

Hard to tell: See your dentist. They can check for a blocked saliva duct. Or possibly you have a localized allergic reaction. Are you taking any new or different medication? If your problem is not dental in origin, then they will refer you to a physician (possibly an otolaryngologist-ear, nose and throat specialist).
