Tell them: It only takes a few minutes for you to call and at least leave a message with the medical staff. That includes the physician, the medical assistant, the nurse, or a physician extender, eg a nurse practitioner(np) or physician assistant (pa). It may be crucial to the prioritization of your care. Call your Dr: I would call your dr. He may want to get the ct right away. You always want to rule out the most serious thing first. Your symptoms could be due to an abdominal mass or other process putting pressure on the vein drainage of the legs. Hopefully this is not the case but if it is you would want to know about it.
