A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on the type: Of heart disorder. Young people often have congenital lesions that do not affect blood tests. Older people have mostly atherosclerotic heart disease, and common test for that are fasting blood lipids, c-reactive protein, bnp and troponin. It would be prudent to consult your doctor for proper choice of tests based on your clinical history and physical findings.
