Hyperpigmentation: What you have is postinflammatory hyper pigmentation meaning that skin irritation causes increased pigment. Isotretinoin causes increased sun sensitivity which could also cause increase in pigment in your skin. Treatment is with prescription bleaching cream called hydroquinone.
