A member asked:

How much fish oil to take if you have glumerolonephritis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

None: The evidence that fish oil benefits patients with glomerulonephritis is weak, controversial and mostly in rats. It doesn't help the loss of protein in the urine. Moreover, if your kidney funtion is poor, the protein load from eating fish (if that's the source of your fish oil) can be harmful. I couldn't advise you to use fish oil.
