Spread of herpes HSV: Hsv does not 'burn through' condoms but it certainly can be passed from one person to another by contact with infected body fluids that may be on the outside of the condom and then touched by the 'recipient'. It can be passed skin-skin contact (athletes: herpes gladiatorum), through oral secretions and through sexual contact.
