Changes in weight: Cryselle and ortho cyclen can both result in decrease or increase in weight. Both contain Estradiol , though slightly higher in ortho-cyclen. Both also contain progestins, and are monophasic agents.To reduce weight gain , increase physical activity /reduce caloric intake ( reduce portion size) reduce fatty foods, increase veggies/ fruits, always remember to practice safe sex .Use condoms. Stay safe.
