Anger & anxiety: Yes, your body can go into "fight or flight" mode when angry or anxious. Learning to deal with anger is a long-term process, and there's no immediate switch to turn off. Sometimes you just need time out to calm down, and you need to give yourself that space. Overall, it's important for all of us to discover and work with our own sensitivities -- meditation, yoga, & other practices can help.

Anger & Fight/Flight: Fear & rage centers in brain appear 2B coupled & both r active when brain triggers a fight/response. Situations that make us fearful-esp intense ones-can leave us labeling physical sensations of fight/flight response as anger vs fear. And when we tell ourselves we're angry we tend 2behave accordingly. To create relaxation response, take slow, shallow breaths. Cup ur hands & breathe thru them.
