Complicated question: A women under the age of 35 who has regular periods is generally considered fertile. After a year of unprotected intercourse with no pregnancy an infertility evaluation would be appropriate. Women over 35 and women with irregular menses can be evaluated sooner. Infertility should always be considered a couples problem and complete male evaluation is also indicated. No one test proves fertility.

Egg Quality: Female fertility potential is possible with blood and ultrasound testing. Egg quality is the most important factor for fertility and measuring amh, fsh, and antral follicle count (inhibit b?) can give you a great idea. No question that tubes and seprm are critical. We find that we are testing women before cancer treatment and career women before delayed families. Just a thought. Best wishes.
