Constant cough: There are many reasons for chronic or constant coughing. The most common reasons are asthma, post nasal drip from allergies or sinus infections and ge (acid) reflux. Pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs) is another cause typically related to heart issues and can lead to cough, shortness of breath and even wheezing. A pulmonologist can help.
