Rest, steroid inject: Depending on location, rest (sometimes even a cast), steroid injection, debride surgically. Sometimes removing osteophytes and reinserting ligaments or tendons is necessary. Different structures (achilles tendon, rotator cuff, trochanter) respond differently and need special considerations.
