Depends: If she has had intercourse, then a pregnancy test should be done. Once a girl starts having periods, she will have on average, 12 periods over the next 2 years. Missing periods is not unusual, but having sex plus missing periods can equal pregnant.

There are a # of: Reasons a female can miss a period. The most likely reason is pregnancy however. If she just started her period it may be irregular at first.Reasons for missed/late periods: low body weight, obesity, marked weight ^ or v, over-exercise, endurance athletics, breast-feeding, ^ stress, illness, eating disorders (bulimia or anorexia), anovulatory cycle (no egg released), travel, hormone irregularities.
