Can the pill stop your period from occuring ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: The way to use the birth control pill to stop the periods is by taking the pills with hormones continuously. When a woman finishes the pills with hormones and starts the pills with no hormones the period comes. If she just takes active pills and no placesaver pills the period won't come. Though some women who do this have spotting. There are several bcp that cause a period every 3 months.
