Varies: If your cycles are regular then learning to check cervical mucus or temperatures may help, OPK may help if you are less regular. Ultrasound is completely reliable, but obviously means you need doctor.

Depends: Most women do not feel ovulation. The best way to tell is with an ovulation predictor kit.
