How quickly following stopping birth control can i get pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually 4-6 weeks: When you stop birth control pills, it often takes 4-6 weeks to get back to a normal cycle. In some women, it takes a lot longer than that. You can release an egg (& get pregnant) before you have the next period after stopping the pill, so you could get pregnant as early as 2-3 weeks after stopping the pill. Only about 15% get pregnant with any one cycle, so don't count on getting preg right away.
