A member asked:

Could there be a cure for liver cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and No: It depends on the stage of cancer at the time of diagnosis. Most liver cancers are diagnosed late and hence are incurable. But 10-15% of the patients are cured, most of whom had a small tumor which could be removed or the whole liver was removed completely and a new liver transplant was available. Your oncologist can address this question for your case better.
