A member asked:

Is there a good scientific cure for hiv?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No cure likely: Hiv integrates itself into the genome of reserve cells that keep the immune system supplied. I agree with most scientists that there's no reasonable prospect of removing these. The best for which we can hope is to find some immune-enhancer that will make the antibody response to HIV more effective so it might keep the blood free of the virus. Eager to hear other doctors' input.
