Variable: Depends upon presence or absence of bladder reflux, inborn protective kidney mechanism to prevent intra-renal reflux & type of bacteria. Also upon body's infection control mechanisms. Can be within hours if with bladder reflux and bad bacterial type. Conversely some bladder infections will never spread to kidney. In between from 24 hrs to many days or even weeks depending upon conditions.
