What should i do about acne when nothing works?

What's been tried?: Acne is a chronic, serious disease that cannot be cured but that remits, often after many years. I was able to stop taking systemic tetracyline around age 50. The strongest rx is Isotretinoin and this is expected to get a remission for at least a year. Please don't give up.
