Please see your gyn: For a workup as you need an exam , and an ultrasound at the least and then there are numerous medical and surgical options, depending on if u want to preserve fertility , if u have no contraindications u can use otc anti- inflamm like Motrin until u see your gyn the script meds work much better though assuming u have nothing wrong like endometriosis , etc.

Med eval: NSAID’s, SSRI’s, hormone meds, OTC meds containing diuretics, warm bath, heating pad, exercise & acupuncture are excellent for PMS / period. Avoid caffeine, chocolate, alcohol & salt. Get GYN eval to R/O underlying pathology. Consider omega- 3 fatty acids, magnesium (supplementation or through diet) or Black Cohosh with dr ok. Sipping Chamomile can dissipate pain. Ginger helps w nausea.
