Many medications: Antibiotics like gentamicin, vancomycin; non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (nsaids) such as aspirin, tylenol, (acetaminophen) Ibuprofen & other types of medication such as Methotrexate can cause all cause kidney damage & add to any pre-existing damage. Some can cause kidney stones when improperly used like diuretics-lasix or chlorthiazides, excess laxative use, antacids like magnesium triplicate & others.
