Diet modification depends on the stone type and the work-up results (blood and urine and imaging tests). The existing stone will get bigger due to further crystal deposit or new stone will develop. High fluid intake to at least 2 -2.5 liters/day is the mainstay for most cases. You should see a urologist or nephrologist with experience in caring patients with kidney stone (nephrolithiasis).

Agree with Dr. Le. Drink enough water each day so that your urine is mostly colorless. Wish you good health!
