Fluids: Drink lots of fluids, that can help. Avoid milk, as it promotes more acid. Chewing gum can help. Sitting upright and even sleeping upright propped on pillows can help. Avoid foods that trigger your heartburn, eat small frequent meals. Honestly , the anti-histamines like zantac (ranitidine) or Pepcid are a godsend in pregnancy and they are very very safe. So is Tums or rolaids.
