RICE: Unfortunately, only time will heal a sprain. Simple things like rest, ice packs, compression wraps and elevation are helpful in the immediate setting. If this does not help, it may be helpful to see a podiatrist or foot and ankle orthopedist who can get xrays to ensure there are no breaks and properly immobilize you in an ankle brace or boot. Some docs use prp to aid in soft tissue healing.
