Can drinking alcohol increase the dangers when you have an incisional hernia?

Unrelated: Symptoms from an incisional hernia may be swelling, pressure, discomfort, pain. If the hernia causes marked pain with nausea and vomiting then the hernia needs to be evaluated by a doctor or emergency room urgently. Drinking alcohol in a smart and moderate amount would have no affect on a hernia condition.

Excessive ???: I am not aware that regular consumption of alcohol would cause hernia problems. Excessive drinking and alcoholism can cause system wide problems leading to complications.
