A member asked:

Would it be possible that a person get on disability diagnosed with fibromyalgia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It's not easy: In general patients who go on disability with fibromyalgia have worse health outcomes than those who do not. Often the initial disability claim will be denied. Then you would need to hire an attorney preferably experienced in successfully getting fibromyalgia patients on disability.
