Will likely occur: Some diseases are termed "silent killers" like hypertension (or diabetes or high cholesterol) when undiagnosed and before serious symptoms have developed. However for most diseases considered terminal or have progressed to a terminal stage, then even if asymptomatic for a long time, eventually some symptoms occur such as fatigue, loss of appetite, and so on.
