Complicated answer: But excellent question. Consider first sex type male-female or male-male sex. Then considering receptive vs insertive vs oral or combination of the three. Then..Even more important in my opinion is the viral load of the individual or individuals. If one has HIV and on meds and undetectable, the chances of transmitting virus go down dramatically ~93-96%. Using condums further improves on this.
