How unsafe is it to be around someone who just went through radiation for breast cancer?

No: If she had radiation delivered from a machine the answer is no. However if she had radiation pellets for instance placed in the tumor the answer may be yes.

Not at all: The radiation a patient receives for cancer treatment does not make them radioactive (emitters of radiation). It is entirely safe to be around patients who have been treated with radiation.
