6 hours by 3 months: Most babies can sleep for a 6 hour stretch at night without a feeding by 2-3 months of age. The key to helping babies "sleep all night" without a feeding is to develop a bedtime routine which includes letting the baby "remember" falling asleep in his or her own crib. If you are still having trouble getting your baby to sleep for 6-8 hrs by 4 months, talk to your pediatrician at the 4 mo visit.
