Confusing question: If your concern is about strep throat, the issue is unlikely to bother a fetus. The germ does not enter the blood & travel to the baby, so baby does not have any ill effects. If your question is about group b strep, that germ is common in the female genital tract. It can contaminate baby during birth or infect the fetal waters prior to delivery. In either case the germ can infect baby & cause death.
