Don't forget Malaria: Vaccines depend on which you have already had & where you are going in zambia. Yellow fever vaccine if going to north west & western provinces of zambia only. Be sure up to date on tetanus, diphtheria & pertussis (tdap) hepatitis a (also hep b would be ideal) and typhoid. Check your MMR (recent measles outbreak), polio (ipv). Will need malaria meds. Learn about rabies safety.Need backup antibiotic.

Zambia Vaccines: See: https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/traveler/none/zambia . Most should have Hepatitis A & Typhoid vaccine. Malaria drugs are recommended. Adults may need polio booster. What about flu shot, MMR vaccine, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine& varicella vaccine ?
