A member asked:

I'm just wondering, if your cervix is closed during pregnancy, how come some have cervical mucus?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: The cervix naturally produces mucous, during pregnancy there is such increased blood flow that the mucous and other discharge can become heavy.
