"double red": If you are referring to the "double red" procedure, where the red blood cells equaling two units of blood are removed, and the plasma and other components returned, then yes. If you mean two units of whole blood, this is not recommended as healthy, except in rare circumstances--like before surgery, where you will get those units back.
