How do you cure sinus infections?

See an ENT doc !: Sinus infections are frequently caused by allergies or the inability of the sinus to drain properly. If the sinus isn't draining properly, and this is the sole reason for your chronic infections, the ENT surgeon will often make the draining hole of the sinus larger. This allows adequate drainage of the sinus which greatly reduces the number of infections. Keep smiling !

Not "one" cure: Most "sinus infections" are not really infections. If there really is an acute sinus infection with pus in the sinus there should be severe facial pain, nasal discharge, congestion, often a cough as well. The antibiotics and topical decongestants. Supportive measures to ease pain will also help. Prevention is important so stop smoking.

See details: Medications that open up the drainage and treat the infection are the best cures.
