ED: Men may lose some ability to have an erection at any age, but the younger man most likely will have some other medical issue leading to it. Diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, nerve problems, stress, depression and low testosterone may be factors. Any man under the age of 65 with ED should be evaluated by their doctor or see a urologist. Ed may be the first symptom of other more serious problem.
