A member asked:

Can having cerebral palsy affect a man's ability to get and maintain an erection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It should not: Patients with cerebral palsy usually only have problems with muscle control of usual voluntary muscles. The autonomic function of the body usually works fine but may be somewhat sluggish. Bowel, bladder control and sexual function may be a little difficult but should work okay. It would be reasonable to have a thorough medical evaluation to rule out other causes.
