No: Start timing from the time you sleep. Insomniacs can lay awake in bed for hours, but that doesn't give restorative sleep. If you have sleep problems, talk to your doctor for tips. Sleep is so important for weight, growth (in kids), immune system function, memory/learning, behavior, and more!
