Can someone tell me how long will it take for my shin splints to heal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

4-6weeks: Shin splints are essentially stress fractures of the tibia bone. They usually take at least 4-6 weeks to heal but sometimes even longer. During that time you need to minimize any impact activities or you will further slow healing. To prevent them from returning make sure you have proper shoe wear, stretch well, and follow good exercise technique.
