Albuterol makes my heart race and i don't like it, what else can i ask my doctor about?

Xopenex (levalbuterol): Xopenex (levalbuterol) (pronounced zoh-punex) is used as a 'rescue inhaler' like albuterol, supposedly with less side effects you describe. My personal observation is that this is not 100% accurate, but it might be worth a try. Ask your doctor.
