No, it isn't: Sertraline (Zoloft/ Lustral) is one of the Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressants. It works primarily by increasing serotonin. Benzodiazapines on the other hand, enhance effect of gama-aminobutyric acid (GABA).
