Folliculitis: Good morning! irritation after shaving can be common- and what you describe sounds like folliculitis or inflammation of the hair follicles. Ingrown hair is another possibility. For many people, undergoing laser hair removal can essentially eliminate this issue. No more shaving and irritating the follicles means no more painful bumps.
