2nd opinion?: That explanation is a little confusing; you can't predictably cause scarring by doing a d&c, & that wouldn't help treat a fibroid in the wall. Did you have an ablation? Dep.On size of the fibroid that is an option as well; Lupron (leuprolide) is typically only indicated for postmenopausal pt's (b/c it causes temp. Menopause, so if you have gone through menopause already, Lupron (leuprolide) not useful.Always fine 2get2nd op.

Uterine bleeding : If your uterine bleeding is from a fibroid, consider an emboization of the fibroid to end it. You will need to go to an intervertional radiologist (ir) in the hospital to do this. It is not surgery. You will need an angiogram and the ir will embolize the fibroid which will end the bleeding. Obviously, your previous attempts at controlling the bleeding have not been successful, get a consultation.
