Palpitations: Fast heart rate associated with chest pain and shortness of breath needs to be evaluated by a physician. You could have an arrhythmia or some other cardiac issue such as mitral valve prolapse, which is a common cause at your age for palpitations. Also be sure to minimize caffeine.
