Constipation: Sounds like you were backed up quite a bit. Constipation is caused by slow movement or transit of stool leading to over-absorption of water so that it becomes hard and more difficult to move. If you don't have regular bowel movements, you can get backed up a ways, leading to your long, wide stool. Plenty of fiber & fluids along w/regular exercise are key to avoiding constipation.
