Just blood : Some people pass big clots of blood when they have a period. Most do not. Small clots of blood are normal. Large clots are not.

Period Clots: Blood clots in periods can happen for a number of reasons and should not be a cause for concern, just like not having blood clots in a period should be no cause for concern. The quality of periods can vary so there may be clots or none. Just as long as there is no pain or the clots do not increase. If they don't go away, see a doctor.
