Cool liquids: Scalding your throat after eating is uncomfortable. If it is severe, you are having difficulty swallowing, breathing, there is swelling you need to be seen asap. If it is uncomfortable, this will take a few days to heal. You should stick with liquids b/c they are less likely to stick, cooler liquids will help and avoid acidic food since it will sting; liquid Lidocaine given by your md can help.
