Possible LERD?: Exposure of the vocal cords to stomach acid & pepsin will result in larygneal inflammation (larygo-esophageal reflux =lerd). Acute laryngitis may result, but watch out for chronic hoarseness, throat clearing, airway spasms, cough, bronchitis, asthma-type presentation. If you're sure its reflux, try antacids for immediate relief, improve diet, start acid blockers. If not sure, get checked please.

Several options: There are many medications available to treat acid reflux. Over the counter antacids, h2 blockers (zantac, pepcid), proton pump inhibitors (ppis) such as omeprazole, and diet control - avoidance of spicey foods, alcohol, and carbonated drinks, to name a few. For runny nose and sneezing an allergy evaluation is recommended.
