Absolutely!: If your blood sugar is too low (hypoglycemia) you can go into a coma. Your brain needs sugar for energy and if it is not getting any, it will shut down into a coma. The same can be true if you have too high of blood sugar. If you have diabetes, it is extremely important to keep your blood sugar levels regulated.
